Distracted Driving:

By all means, Distracted Driving is by far the worst. Distracted Driving has horrible intentions in which usually result in an accident or a death. A time that I have been in a car at the time with a distracted driver was with my older sister. My sister was driving, and she had her lovely cell phone in her hand... meanwhile I'm always looking straight looking out for her, she comes to a curve and a lady, is seen to be walking across the street, at the same time my sister is texting. I noticed the lady, thinking shed get across the street at the time my sister would pass but no! I screamed and she quickly hit the brakes as the old lady stopped. I will never get in a car with her unless her phone is in my hands!

Distance vs Displacement

Distance vs. Displacement

Distance is the amount of space in between two points or things.
an example of how I used "distance" today is in drill practice, using "forward march", is a form of distance I used until I did the command "rear march" which brought me towards the starting point.

Displacement,  is the direction in which the object or person went, that landed it in its location.
an example of how i used displacement today was getting to the other  class, i start from my
(ending) class and go certain directions to end to my (starting) class.

Estimating Distances

I estimate the front of my house to be about 4 meters long, at the front. I find this to be a little unreasonable for the given fact that its bigger, once you enter it its not as small as four meters but that would have to do with dimensions... so i find it unreasonable.

Reaction Time Homework

Reaction Time, is a certain form in which someone or something draws attention to an object at a certain timing. It usually uses the methods of time and speed. One of three encounters I've had with "Reaction Time" is everyday for me. I always wake up to an alarm, everyday to go to Drill Practice for JROTC, I'm there at 6:30 sharp. I react to the alarm, and how I have to be ready and up at a certain timing. The second time I've encountered a form of "Reaction Time" is how I react to driving... I've done test drives with my sister to be ready for when I get my permit. Although, yes we drive in parking lots and big, empty spaces I'm attentive to when and where to slowly hit the brakes/gas. I mostly react when I stop. The last form of three in how I use "Reaction Time" is the most common! I, as a teen use my phone quite a bit. I do not feel safe without it, I am very cranky without my phone and every time I receive a text/i message I react. I always respond and very quickly when it's an emergency! I'm ALWAYS alert of my phone and when I get a text and which one to respond to/ not respond to... but thus, these have been my three forms of how I use "Reaction Time" on a daily basis.
